I was born and raised in Louisiana. I have lived in various Florida Parishes throughout my life but currently reside in Tangipahoa Parish - the strawberry capital of Louisiana. I fall in the millennial generation but firmly identify with the wild ones of Generation X, so I guess I am a Xennial. I have an insatiable appetite to learn new things, which can make it hard to find balance sometimes. My favorite genre of music is the Blues, though I have semi-secret obsessions with Pentatonix and Stray Kids. I live in a house with eight dogs, three of which are mine. I also have a number of cats, which I refuse to count - all rescues. Cue the chaos!

I love to travel and have been to the UK and Ireland twice but have dreams of visiting Asia and Oceania someday. I love to read. I love to bake and cook and explore new recipes. I love to hike with my best friend, though we don't get to go as often as we'd both like. Camping is my favorite type of vacation and I dream of doing a backpacking trip. Who am I kidding though?
